It may be only 7

days to the Calendar Spring... but here,

it is the most beautiful early Spring weather...

we had hot, hot, hot :sun a couple of days ago

today, we have early Spring.. dull and cloudy, but so beautifully fresh... heavy, white over dew on the grass field...

a few weeks ago, I think I commented on the hazel (?) catkins, today we have big, blowsy
pussy willows, and alongside the pussy willows, heavy golden yellow willow buds heavy with gold dust.

]here is a lovely photo of both of them

God surely blesses us

Yes! They are beautiful!!! My trees are beginning to push out leaf buds and the crocus and snowdrops are waking up, too. It's spring! The robins and swallows and phoebes are starting to arrive. This is one of my favorite times of year.

Re:

It is spring here, too! The spring birds are back and I am tracking the course of hummingbirds on the way.

Nanny, those are just beautiful!

I have lots of crocuses too and my daffodils are close to blooming also. I saw a couple robins in my neighbor's yard but I haven't yet seen any birds in my yards.

A record temperature of 72° was set at the airport yesterday. It's always a little cooler at the coast where I live.

Today's weather started with light on and off drizzle but it will continue to be warm for the next few days.

I love pussy willows, I think mine have all died out but this year I think my forsythias will be blooming soon.

HG dh and I drove up the main road near to us, and I noticed a forsythia just thinking about blooming. I could see the yellow buds!
