First frost

This was at 9:30 am, so I am sure it had already started melting.

Oh what gorgeous shots! Love the shimmering frost, like diamonds on the grass.
Is that one of your new flags? I can't remember... emoticon
Love that brilliant sunlight on the red sumac..

That is not one of my new flags. I think that flag is beautiful, but up close the print is off and does weird things with your eyes. At that distance it looks fine.

This is my first Dark-eyed Junco of the year. He did not slow down enough for me to get a good picture before he disappeared under the porch.

I like your Moon picture, Susa.

I'm glad you posted it because I almost forgot to look at the moon tonight.

Hubby and I went outside and looked. It is a nice clear night, and the moon is very big and bright. However, it wouldn't really make a good picture because there would be nothing else of interest in the picture.

Guess what hubby said to me as we were outside in the backyard looking at the moon?

He said, "Who would have thought almost 50 years ago that we would be standing outside together in the back yard of our own house looking at the moon?" emoticon

 emoticon Sue

It was cloudy when I took the picture. Now it is clear out there, but like you, it is higher in the sky and nothing to frame against. It is still beautiful.
