me again, with health ....

o.k. so went out to lunch with my friend, Barbara and her partner.
she, well both of them, have mental problems, so she is well versed in them ie. depression etc.

talking to her, made me realise I need to go on some prescription medication, so rang the doc and asked about the anti depressant/anxiety pills that had been prescribed for me before I went into hospital

citalopram,, I had taken either 3 or 4 just before I was whizzed into hospital, and the hospital doctor did say that these pills could not have caused the bacterial infection, which manifested itself with severe diarrohea for several days, and needed antibiotics to clear it up... a bad/severed case according to the docs and though the infection has gone, still bowel insides not really back to how they [sign in to see URL] too much information!

so though I am now going to take this prescripton drug, I am scared, well I am really hyped with anxiety, never, ever been like this... as one of the side effects could be diarrohea and it that starts I will zooooom out...

so really just opening up to you all, which is a compliment to you all, as I really am not good at this sort of stuff, ie. sharing..

oh and Susan, told to stop the 5 -HTP not to take at the same time.

 emoticon

no I will be postive emoticon

thanks for listening

Good! I am glad to hear this! Yes, stop the 5-HTP. Otherwise your serotonin levels will not be monitored correctly. My mother took a SSR, which is what citalopram is, for the last 8 years of her life and it worked miracles for her. Good miracles.

For the moment, I am staying with the 5-HTP

I cannot bear the thought that one of the side effects of citalopram is diarrohea.. the memories of being in hospital is too much.. Jim has actually listened to me, and agrees with how I am feeling.

I can`t work out, what is pulling me down, yesterday, I woke reasononably good, went to my Sheltie board,, was it that that is not good for me at the moment? or what... I guess I am thinking too much! oh dear! Mindfulness...
and listening to so called relaxing music on Youtube,

doing a bit of Taichi first thing in the morning. hoping that will help..

awake now at [sign in to see URL] a.m. bladder medication not got into my system yet, as I wake every two hours to go pee!mostly I can get back to sleep, but every so often like tonight,,, my head is just buzzing and I had to get up.

*sending lots of hugs*

These are difficult times, Nanny. And they will pass. Give yourself some time. Find out what's good for you - may be tai chi, may be walks, may be new plants... you won't know until you try it for a while. But I know it in my heart that you can find your way back to your happy self. We just can't see the path just yet.

We're here for you. *more hugs*

Nanny, I am so glad that you went to see your family and that you had a good visit. Seeing other people will probably be helping you a great deal.

I am so sorry for your recent losses, and that you are having a difficult time. It does seem, though, that you are improving as time goes on.

We are here for you, Nanny, and we all care about you. emoticon

I am very happy that you are opening up to us. It seems to be helping you. emoticon

Nanny, going to your Sheltie board may be a little too hard for you right now. You probably need more time. You may have friends there who understand your loss but may not know about your physical condition.

Visiting the family and going for walks is very good for your "mood". Tai chi should be very helpful for your physical and mental health. You are definitely on the right track. You have just had too much to deal with lately and have gotten run down.

Hang in there, lady. You are going to be fine. emoticon

Late to this, but oh, Nanny! You're never a burden.

Glad you took that walk with your DiL and her labs. Can you do that regularly?
